John Morris Season 2006-07

2006-07: Played in 15 games with one start..scored six points vs. Delaware...Selected to the first team CAA All-Academic squad...Played this season as a graduate student.

2005-06: Tied a career high 12 points vs. JMU...Played 23 minutes vs. JMU and came up with three steals...Two steals vs. Georgia, Georgia State.... Tied career high five rebounds at VMI. ..Graduated in Dec. of '05, now working towards a graduate degree.

2004-05: Logged a career high of 26 minutes and scored 12 points vs. VMI...Knocked down 4 three pointers in the same game...Played over 10 minutes in eighteen games...Connected on 18 three pointers last year...started December games vs VMI and William & Mary.

2003-04: Red Shirted.

2002-03: Started two games last year...came off the bench to score seven points in ODU's win at UNC Wilmington...Hit 82 percent of his free throws....Dished out six assists vs Maryland-Eastern Shore...Also scored seven points vs James Madison...Averaged 11.7 minutes per game last year.

 

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER: Two-Time Sentinal Player of the Year...Averaged 27.2 points, 6.1 assists and 5.2 steals per game for Trinity High as a senior. Led Trinity to a 59-3 record over two years, winning the Pennsylvania AA State Championship in 2001 and reaching the state semi-finals in 2002... Shot .934 from the free throw line in 2002 and scored 37 points in the state semi-finals. Scored 2,038 career points...Selected to play in the Pennsylvania-Maryland All-Star shootout...PIAA "AA" State Champion...All-District selection three times....Honor student.
