2011-12: Finished redshirt season with a record of 15-10 unattached... Capped off the year with a second place finish at the National Collegiate Open... Had two falls and one major decision.
Prep: A three-time all-State performer, was a two-time state finalist... Completed undefeated 44-0 campaign with a state title at 171 pounds... Richmond Times Dispatch Metro Wrestler of the Year... Had a 3.9 high school GPA.
Off the Mat: Son of Bobby Joe and Laura Coburn... Two sisters, Maddie and Abby... Plans on majoring in exercise science.
