NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Athletics is teaming up with Frost Buddy to launch an exclusive collection of special-edition ODU-branded Universal Buddy can coolers celebrating Monarch football and basketball, along with a different design for baseball. Each collectible design will commemorate a unique aspect of ODU Athletics and be available for purchase at select concession’s locations during home athletic events.
The collection, priced at $40 per can cooler, will debut during ODU Football's Homecoming celebration on Saturday, Oct. 31, at S.B. Ballard Stadium and will be available for basketball beginning on November 2 when men’s basketball opens its season at Chartway Arena.

Football and Basketball Edition: A Tribute to Monarch Tradition
The first release will feature a special Ice Cream & Cake edition as the Universal Buddy will make its debut during Homecoming festivities on Saturday, Oct. 31 versus Marshall and will be available for purchase at participating concessions locations throughout S.B. Ballard Stadium for the remainder of the 2026 football season.
