NORFOLK, Va. – Multi-platinum recording artist DaBaby is coming to Chartway Arena on the campus of Old Dominion and will have several opening acts, Old Dominion Athletics announced on Thursday. The concert takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
STU MONEY, Baby Rhiii, Jo Bianca, Serenityee and Toosii will open the performance for DaBaby.
A Norfolk native, STU MONEY has recorded two albums, including his most recent, Solidified, that came out in 2024.
Baby Rhiii is a Chesapeake and Portsmouth native, and an ODU student. She began releasing music in 2023, steadily growing her name and reaching new audiences. A major moment in her journey came through her collaboration with ScarLip, which helped increase her visibility and gave her a national presence.
Jo Bianca is from Hampton, and she brings a dark and moody vibe to her hip-hop.
From San Antonio, Texas, Serenityee is an emerging rap artist bringing confidence, bold energy, and unapologetic individuality to hip-hop.
Toosii began his career in 2017 and emerged as a mainstream artist in 2023, with his hit “Favorite Song.”
DaBaby has produced multiple Billboard hits and has released five studio albums, including his most recent, Be More Grateful, that came out earlier this year.
The concert is part of a growing trend around the country, where musical artists perform on college campuses with a portion of the revenue going to support revenue sharing efforts for athletics departments. This event marks a new partnership between Old Dominion Athletics and JanDar Productions/Elk Sports & Entertainment that is aimed at creating high-profile entertainment experiences for the Norfolk and Hampton Roads community while generating meaningful support for ODU's student-athletes.
