NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball has announced tip times for its upcoming 2026-27 season home games at Chartway Arena.
The Monarchs will host a couple of exhibition games versus VCU on Saturday, Oct .17 at 7 p.m. and against Virginia State on Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
ODU opens its 2026-27 campaign by welcoming Western Michigan on Monday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the first round of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge. The team then takes on Regent on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
After hitting the road for games at Bucknell and Norfolk State, the Silver and Blue will be back on their home court on Saturday, Nov. 14 when they take on Longwood at 4 p.m. Following a trip to Charlottesville to play Virginia, ODU has a home game against Hampton on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m.
The Monarchs open December by hosting Drexel on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m., then turn around and host Richmond that Saturday, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m. Old Dominion’s next three games are on the road as the team heads to Fairfax to take on George Mason before opening Sun Belt Conference play with games at Marshall and South Alabama.
ODU rounds out the year with three games at home. First is a 1 p.m. meeting with The Apprentice School on Tuesday, Dec. 22, followed by a 5 p.m. tipoff against Charleston Southern on Monday, Dec. 28. That game will be a doubleheader at Chartway Arena and will follow the women’s 2 p.m. game versus Morgan State. The Monarchs then conclude 2026 with a 2 p.m. Sun Belt test against ULM on New Year’s Eve.
The Silver and Blue round out their four-game homestand and open 2027 with a 2 p.m. Sun Belt contest against conference newcomer Louisiana Tech on Saturday, Jan. 2. Following a pair of SBC road games at Louisiana and Southern Miss, ODU returns to Chartway Arena for a 7 p.m. tip versus App State on Wednesday, Jan. 13. The team’s final home game in January will be on Saturday, Jan. 23 when the Monarchs host Arkansas State. The meeting with the Red Wolves will follow the ODU women’s basketball home game versus Marshall at 4 p.m. and is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.
In February, the Monarchs will host Georgia State on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. After being on the road for the second round of the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge, ODU returns to Norfolk on Thursday, Feb. 11 for a Sun Belt contest versus Georgia Southern. The TowneBank Royal Rivalry game versus James Madison is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m., and the men’s team will host Marshall on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. following the women’s home game versus App State at 4 p.m. ODU’s regular season finale will be a 7 p.m. home game against Coastal Carolina on Friday, Feb. 26.
