NORFOLK, Va. – #20 Old Dominion field hockey hosts Saint Louis on Sunday, Sept. 27 before traveling north to take on William & Mary on Monday, Sept. 28.
The Monarchs begin play against the Billikens at 11 a.m., before the Tribe hosts ODU at 6 p.m. Live stats and streaming will be available for fans.
For the first time in program history, Old Dominion and Saint Louis will face off against each other. Meanwhile, ODU is 56-22 against W&M, including two shutouts in the last three meetings.
ABOUT ODU
Old Dominion is coming off a 4-2 victory over Delaware last weekend, rebounding after a 2-0 loss to conference foe Providence two days prior. Two Monarchs scored their first collegiate goals against the Blue Hens, including Autumn Busby and Madison Zalewski.
Serena Langendoen leads ODU in scoring with seven goals, as Sofia Marciano follows behind with six, though both players scored against Delaware. Langendoen is also tied with Josie Painter in assists with four each.
Sophomore goalkeeper Alexa Murphy collected her first collegiate start and win last weekend and now holds a 1-1 record with eight saves and four goals allowed.
ABOUT SAINT LOUIS
The Billikens are 2-6 after falling in three straight games, including dropping competition to VCU, 4-1, on Friday.
Sierra Larson leads Saint Louis in goals with five, while teammates Brynn Newborn, RB McGowan, and Ella Etherington have two each.
Goalkeeper Abby Schalow has 33 saves on the season with 14 goals allowed.
ABOUT WILLIAM & MARY
The Tribe will look to rebound against ODU as they return home following a 2-0 shutout loss to Northeastern on Friday, extending their losing streak to five.
Josie Mae Gruendel and Hailey Haynes lead W&M in goals with two each, though seven girls are tied in second with one each. Eight players are also tied in most assists with one each.
Goalkeeper Alexandra de Jesus has 36 saves with 26 goals allowed so far this fall.
