NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University Swimming Head Coach Jess Livsey has announced her 2026-27 schedule, highlighted by four home meets ending with the ASUN Conference Championship meet.
The Monarchs open the season on Sept. 19 with the annual Blue/Gray Intersquad Meet at home in Norfolk. The event, scheduled for 8 a.m., will take place during Family and Alumni Weekend, welcoming Monarch supporters back to campus for the start of the new season.
Old Dominion opens at home on Oct. 2, hosting George Mason University at 3 p.m. The Monarchs will then travel to Boiling Springs, North Carolina, for a two-day meet against Gardner-Webb University on Oct. 9-10.
The November schedule features a pair of events, beginning with a Nov. 7 home meet against Howard University at 2 p.m. The Monarchs will then compete in the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Maryland, from Nov. 19-21.
In December, Old Dominion will travel to Florida for its winter training trip. The team will be based in Boca Raton from Dec. 11-20, with additional competition scheduled during the trip, including the Open Water Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota and a Dec. 19 meet at Florida Atlantic University.
The Monarchs will return to competition in January with a Jan. 8 meet against William & Mary, UNCW and Richmond at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Virginia. Old Dominion will then host Davidson College on Jan. 15 before traveling to Washington, D.C., to face American University on Jan. 22.
The championship portion of the season begins in February with the ASUN Conference Championship, scheduled for Feb. 17-20 in Knoxville, Tennessee, at the University of Tennessee.
Old Dominion will continue postseason competition in March at the National Invitational Championship in Ocala, Florida, March 11-13.
The 2026-27 schedule also includes several special event themes throughout the season, including Family and Alumni Appreciation (Sept. 19), Breast Cancer Awareness (Oct. 2), Youth Day (Nov. 7) and Senior Recognition (Jan. 15).
