NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion Head Swimming Coach Jess Livsey has named Austin Moore as an assistant coach, Livsey announced on Monday.
“Austin’s technical background and diverse experiences will be an excellent addition to our pool deck,” Livsey said. “His positive energy and love for the sport are apparent as we prepare to begin practice. I am thrilled to have him joining our Monarch family and excited for the new season to come.”
Moore comes to ODU after spending the previous five seasons with the Waves of Wilmington club team. He’s also worked with the Wilmington Swim Academy, Rockville Montgomery Swim Club, Retriever Aquatic Club and Nir Family YMCA.
He spent a year working with the UNCW swim team from 2023-24.
Moore swam at UMBC from 2013-17 and earned his degree in philosophy with a minor in French.
