NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion women’s soccer is welcoming 11 recruits to the 2026-27 roster, as Monarchs head coach Will Roberts announced on Thursday afternoon. Eight first year student-athletes and a fourth year goalkeeper accompany two players Roberts is familiar with from his time at ULM.
#0 Camdyn Smith | First Year | Morgantown, W.Va. | GK
Smith is an incoming first year goalkeeper coming to ODU from Morgantown High School. Smith was a consistent starter on her women’s soccer team since joining in her freshman year and helped her team to back-to-back State Championships in 2022-23.
"Camdyn is a goalkeeper that we're excited to welcome into the program,” said Roberts. “She's been part of winning teams throughout her career and understands what it takes to compete every day. She has a great attitude, wants to improve, and embraces being coached. We're looking forward to helping her continue her development over the next four years."

#1 Emily Earles | Fourth Year | Raleigh, N.C. | GK (NC State)
Earles is joining Old Dominion from NC State for her fourth year of eligibility. Last season she made three appearances in goal and had two starts. She made her first ever start on August 27 and had a career-high five saves against Utah on August 31 and. Earles joined the Wolfpack from a local club, NC Courage.
"Emily brings valuable experience and maturity to our goalkeeping group,” said Roberts. “She understands what it takes to compete at a high level and will immediately raise the level of competition within our squad. She's embraced this new opportunity, and we're excited to have her representing ODU.”

#2 Madelynn Arthur | First Year | Sussex, Wis. | D
Arthur is an incoming first year student-athlete and plays defender. She played club soccer for the SC Wave in Georgia and was named team captain. She grew up in Sussex, Wisconsin and attended Sussex Hamilton High School. Arthur was named First Team All-State and First Team All-Conference in 2025 and earned an All-Conference nod in 2024.
"Madelynn is a defender who loves to compete,” said Roberts. “She's athletic, physical, and brings the mentality we look for in our back line. She's someone we believe has a lot of room to grow, and we're excited to help her reach her potential here at Old Dominion."

#6 Libby Holmes | Fourth Year | Shefford, England | D
Holmes is joining Old Dominion as a fourth year defender who spent the past three seasons at ULM. Last season she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team and earned an All-Sun Belt First Team selection. She started in all 19 of ULM’s contests and ranked second on the team with five goals scored en route to helping the Warhawks earn the Sun Belt regular season title. Holmes registered a career high five points in ULM’s win over Marshall on September 18 where she scored two goals on two shots and dished an assist. Holmes graduated from Samuel Whitbread Academy in Clifton, England and played for Tottenham Hotspur WSLA from 2021-23 along with beginning her career at MK Dons from 2014-21.
"Libby is one of the biggest competitors I've coached,” said Roberts. “She helped us build a championship culture before, and I know exactly what she'll bring to this program every single day. She's consistent, driven and raises the level of everyone around her. We're excited to continue working together and know she'll make an immediate impact both on and off the field."

#9 Ally Richardson | Fifth Year | Flower Mound, Texas | D
Richardson is joining Old Dominion from ULM for her fifth season of eligibility. She started all 20 games for ULM last season, dished four assists, and led the team in minutes played (1,773). A two-time CSC Academic All-District selection, Richardson was a consistent starter for the Warhawks since she moved to Monroe, Louisiana for her redshirt freshman season. Richardson was named to the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team and was part of the Sun Belt regular season championship team with ULM last season. The Texas native graduated from Flower Mound high school in 2022 and spent her freshman season at TCU but did not see any game action.
"Ally is one of the most dependable players I've coached,” said Roberts. “You know exactly what you're going to get from her every day. She's selfless, incredibly consistent, and puts the team first. She's a leader by example and someone who will have a huge impact on our culture from the moment she arrives.”

“The soccer program at Old Dominion is really good and has won many titles in the past. The campus here is beautiful as well!”
#23 Eve O’Carroll | First Year | Stockport, England | M
O’Carroll is joining the Monarchs from Manchester City after spending just over a year with the Citizens. The Irish native has also made three appearances for the Republic of Ireland’s U-17 team and one appearance for the U-19 team. O’Carroll made her debut appearance for Manchester City on December 8, 2024 against Leicester City in a 4-0 win. She began her club career in Wigan Athletic’s academy before moving to Man City in 2022. O’Carroll was a part of a Manchester City squad who won the Women’s Super League this past season.
"Eve is an exciting addition to our midfield,” said Roberts. “She has developed in a top professional environment and brings an excellent understanding of the game. She's composed on the ball, sees the game extremely well, and can control the tempo of a match. We're excited to see her continue developing in our environment."
How Would You Describe Your Playing Style?
“Composed, tactically aware, and I like to dictate the game.”
#24 Reese Kulha | First Year | Holly Springs, N.C. | F
Kulha is joining Old Dominion from Holly Springs High School in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The incoming first year student-athlete is the sister of back-to-back Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Ashlynn Kulha but plays on the other side of the pitch. Kulha played club soccer for Wake FC GA in North Carolina. She is coming off a 49-goal and 15-assist season in her final high school season and tallied 102 goals and 240 points over her four years playing varsity soccer. She scored 19 goals and made four assists as a freshman, 16 goals and 10 assists as a sophomore, and scored 18 goals and dished out seven assists in her junior year. In 70 high school games played, Kulha averaged 1.5 goals per game and 0.5 assists per game.
Kulha holds the Holly Springs record for all-time point leader in a single season (113), most goals in a season (49), and career points (240). She won back-to-back Conference Player of the Year awards and led Holly Springs to its first-ever State Championship last season. She also ranks fifth all-time in school history for single season assists.
"Reese has a natural ability to score goals,” said Roberts. “She's competitive, works extremely hard, and has the mentality you want from a forward. We believe she has a tremendous future ahead of her and we're excited to see what she can accomplish wearing an ODU jersey."

#25 Emme Kline | First Year | Gibsonia, Pa. | F
Kline joins Old Dominion as a first year player from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. The forward attended Pine-Richland High School and played club soccer with Beadling SC. In her senior season at Pine-Richland, she played five games and scored two goals for four points. Kline was named to the Big 56 Second Team in her freshman season, but sat out her sophomore campaign injured. Kline came back in her junior year and earned Big 56 First Team, All-WPIAL, and an All-Selection. In her final season at Pine-Richland, she was named PIAA All-State, Big 56 First Team, All-WPIAL, and All-Selection.
"Emme is a midfielder we're really excited about,” said Roberts. “She's technically very clean, has a great understanding of the game and is comfortable keeping possession under pressure. She has the ability to connect play, create opportunities for others, and impact games in a variety of ways. We're looking forward to seeing her continue to grow throughout her career at ODU."

#28 Vivian Thompson | First Year | Chantilly, Va. | F/M
Thompson is an incoming first year player from Chantilly, Virginia and attended Chantilly High School and earned First Team All-District. She played club soccer at 2008 VDA and was a part of the Virginia Development Academies U-17 team.
"Vivian is a true striker who loves scoring goals,” said Roberts. “She looks like she’s ready to compete every day and is always looking to threaten the opposition. We believe she has all the qualities to continue developing into a very dangerous attacking player."
What is Your Favorite Thing About the ODU Coaching Staff?
“My favorite thing is that they’re very focused on the team and winning. Despite being a freshman I’m grateful to have a chance to play by proving myself!”
#29 Alaina Subong | First Year | Severna Park, Md. | D
Subong is an incoming first year defender and outside back from Severna Park, Maryland. She was a four-year varsity starter at Severn High School and was awarded First Team All-Conference three times. Subong spent one season playing club soccer for Bethesda SC in Maryland competing in the ECNL. Subong scored the game-winning goal in double overtime for the Conference Championship this season and was named All-Metro, All-County, and a team captain in 2025.
"Alaina is a tough, athletic defender who fits exactly what we look for in an outside back,” said Roberts. “She competes, enjoys defending, and has the ability to get forward when the opportunity is there. She has a great attitude, and we're excited to have her join our program."

#33 Molly Flammia | First Year | Goochland, Va. | M
Flammia is an incoming first year student-athlete who played midfield for Goochland High School and played club soccer with Richmond United in the ECNL. Flammia is a 4.4 GPA student and was selected to the iD2 soccer program which provides an opportunity for the country’s elite youth soccer players to be identified and developed, and scouted for inclusion in U.S. Soccer’s National Team programs. The Virginia native was a team captain and earned a training invite with the U.S. Soccer program.
"Molly is a hardworking midfielder who fits the culture we're building here at ODU,” said Roberts. “She's technically sound, competitive, and willing to do the work for the team. We believe she has a lot of potential, and we're excited to help her continue developing both on and off the field over the next four years.”
How Would You Describe Your Playing Style?
“I would say I am a smooth but scrappy player. I'm able to make hard passes and dribbles out of things but also I’m not afraid to get into tackles with my opponents.”
