NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion men’s and women’s swimming teams earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Team Scholar All-America honors, the CSCAA announced. Swimmers Bryce Mortimer, Zach Redding and Addison Elliott earned second team individual Scholar All-America honors.
To qualify for individual honors, swimmers must compile a 3.5 GPA and record an NCAA B-cut qualifying time. Mortimer earned his B-cut time in the 200 breaststroke, setting a school record in the process, while Redding notched his in the 50 free. Elliott earned her time in the 100 backstroke.
The women’s squad posted a team GPA of 3.67, while the men’s team delivered a 3.59 GPA.
