NORFOLK, Va. – No. 58 Old Dominion University women’s tennis will take on No. 45 Houston in the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Jan. 22-24 at national runner up, Auburn University. Following the match against Houston, ODU will face either No. 2 Auburn or No. 71 UNLV in its second match.
The Cougars finished last season with a 17-6 record, playing nine ranked opponents and earning four ranked wins, including victories over No. 35 Utah, No. 29 BYU and No. 51 Colorado.
The Monarchs finished the season 13-6 and clinched their sixth consecutive conference tournament title after defeating Marshall, 4-0, in the championship match. ODU allowed just one point across its three conference tournament matches.
