NORFOLK, Va. – The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced on Tuesday and Old Dominion men’s golfers Joe MacPherson and James Page both earned the distinction.

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances both in competition and in the classroom. The program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.50, must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, must be enrolled in their institution or a recent graduate during the current academic year, and must meet participation requirements based on their specific sport (i.e. competed in 75% of events that counted the team score for golf or be in the lineup at the conference championship tournament).

MacPherson, a sophomore from Aberlady, Scotland, competed in seven events throughout 2025-26 and owned a 75.85 stroke average through 20 rounds played. His best finish was at App State’s Irish Creek Collegiate on April 6-7, where he tied for 24th with a five-over par 218. He was also in ODU’s lineup for the first two rounds of this year’s Sun Belt Championship. An economics major, he posted a 3.73 GPA this spring and has a cumulative GPA of 3.86.

Page is a sophomore from London, England who is also majoring in economics. He competed in four tournaments in 2025-26, owned a 76.10 stroke average through 10 rounds, and was in the lineup for the final round of the conference championship. He also had his best finish at Irish Creek, tying for 39th with an 11-over 224. Page earned a 3.80 GPA this spring and has a cumulative GPA of 3.91. He is on ODU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) executive board and will serve as a Sun Belt representative for the 2026-27 academic year.
