NORFOLK, Va. – The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), were announced on Tuesday and Old Dominion field hockey’s Suus Broers and Serena Langendoen both earned the distinction. 

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances both in competition and in the classroom. The program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must have a minimum GPA of 3.50, must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, must be enrolled in their institution or a recent graduate during the current academic year, eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. 

Broers, a senior from Utrecht, The Netherlands, started 17 of 18 games in goal in 2025 and recorded a 66.7% save percentage with 64 saves on the season, earning Second Team All-BIG EAST honors. Broers also earned a 3.8 GPA in civil engineering.

Langendoen, a junior from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, started all 18 games in 2025 and ranked third on the team in points with 15 while finishing second in goals scored with seven on the season, earning first team All-BIG EAST honors. Langendoen earned a 3.94 GPA in criminal justice.
