NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s basketball head coach Mike Jones has added seven transfers to round out the Monarchs’ 2026-27 roster. ODU’s fifth newcomer is Khoi Thurmon, a 6-foot 1-inch guard transferring in from Oakland.
“Khoi gives us tremendous experience and size at the point guard position. He is equally adept at getting into the paint as a playmaker as he is a staunch defender, guarding multiple positions. A former JUCO All-American, Khoi has really excelled at making the game easier for his teammates as a leader and making plays for himself and others. It is great to have his experience and leadership in our family,” said Jones.
