ODU Announces Home-and-Home Football Series With FIUODU Announces Home-and-Home Football Series With FIU

NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University and FIU have announced a football home-and-home series to begin in 2028 in Miami and for the Monarchs to host the Panthers in Norfolk in 2031.

Former Conference USA foes, ODU and FIU played each other seven times from 2014 to 2021, with the Monarchs holding a 4-3 edge in the series. ODU won in Miami, 47-24, in the final conference meeting in 2021.

ODU will travel to Miami to play the Panthers on Sept. 23, 2028, at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium.

The two teams will play in Norfolk at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Aug. 30, 2031.

Season tickets for the 2026 season are on sale, while current season ticket holders have an exclusive window to renew by May 7.
