ODU's Madeleine Enns Named Big 12 Co-Scholar-Athlete of the YearODU's Madeleine Enns Named Big 12 Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year

IRVING, Texas - Old Dominion women’s rower Madeleine Enns has been selected as the Big 12’s Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year along with Anna Lackner from Tulsa, the conference announced on Thursday.

Enns, a member of ODU’s 1V8+ team, has maintained a 3.9 GPA and studies biomedical science. She has played a role in the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee throughout her collegiate career and has been on the front line of championing community service efforts around the 757. With her help, the Monarchs rowing has logged the most community service hours of all the rowing teams in the country.

Big 12 Rowing Annual Awards:

Rower of the Year: Brigitte Kappler, UCF

Newcomer of the Year: Madison Lovejoy, UCF

Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Madeleine Enns, Old Dominion

Co-Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Anna Lackner, Tulsa

Coach of the Year: Mara Allen, UCF
