IRVING, Texas - Old Dominion’s Madeleine Enns and Nicole Knight were both selected to the All-Big 12 Team, the conference announced following the conclusion of the Big 12 Rowing Championship this weekend.
Knight, a junior, has been rowing for all three years of her collegiate career. Enns, a senior, has featured on the ODU women’s rowing squad since the 2022-23 season. Last season both Knight and Enns were named CRCA Scholar Athletes. Qualifications for the team include a cumulative 3.50 GPA and participation of at least 75% of the team’s races.
Old Dominion placed fifth at the Big 12 Rowing Championship at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The Silver and Blue tallied 26 points which was a program record and the best finish of the day was in the 2V8+ race, ODU’s boat outpaced Kansas and West Virginia with a finish time of 7:57.129 for fourth place behind eventual tournament winner UCF in first place.
