NORFOLK, Va. – Former Old Dominion offensive linemen Zach Barlev and Elijah Hoskin were named to the National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF announced on Wednesday.
To be named a member of the society a player must meet the following criteria:
- A senior player graduating this spring/summer who completed his final season of eligibility in 2025; or
- A graduate player or grad transfer who has already earned a bachelor’s degree and competed in the 2025 season
- Maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (4.0 scale)
- Been a starter or significant contributor during the 2025 season
Barlev, a transfer from Illinois in 2024, started 25 consecutive games for ODU on the offensive line over the past two seasons. In 2025, he started all 13 games at left tackle, helping ODU set a school record for rushing yards. He capped his season by helping the Monarchs to a 24-10 win over South Florida in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl. Barlev is a two-time All-Sun Belt Conference honoring, including first team honors in 2025.
Barlev holds a 3.39 GPA and is majoring in mathematics.
Hoskin spent his entire five-year career at Old Dominion, beginning his career as a walk-on before earning a scholarship as a redshirt sophomore. He played in 31 career games, making four starts at guard.
Hoskin has a 3.51 GPA and is majoring in criminal justice.
