MADISON, Miss. – The third round of stroke play at the Sun Belt Men’s Golf Championship has been suspended due to darkness.
After a delayed start on Wednesday morning due to conditions caused by storms in the area, the tournament initially went into a lightning delay around 1:34 p.m. ET. After multiple attempts to restart and further delays due to additional lightning strikes, play resumed around 6:50 p.m. ET.
The Monarchs are currently in 13th place as a team and are 25-over par through six holes. Round three will resume at 8 a.m. ET on Thursday.
