NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion’s women’s sailing team has been selected for an at-large bid to the 2026 Women’s Fleet Race National Championship, College Sailing announced on Tuesday night. The National Championship will take place from May 15-18 hosted by South Florida in St. Petersburg.

Old Dominion enters as the 17 seed out of the 36-school competition as Stanford grabbed the first seed. Cornell and Georgetown were the two MAISA schools that gained automatic qualification and earned the sixth and seventh seed, respectively. 

Old Dominion’s sophomore skipper Marina Conde and junior crew Molly Hanson were both named to the All-MAISA team this season. Conde notched First Team Skipper honors and Hanson was named to Second Team Crew.
