NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University will host a Watch Party for the NCAA Tennis Selection Show on Monday, April 27. The men’s show begins at 4 p.m. and will be followed by the women’s show at 4:30 p.m.

The selection show will be held in the APR room at the LR Hill Sports Complex. The doors will open at 3:30 p.m. and parking will be available in Lot 43. The event is free and open to the public.

The men’s tennis team clinched its fourth straight NCAA Tournament berth with a 4-1 win over Troy on Sunday. Zech Hamrouni clinched the match with a three-set win at No. 2 singles, marking the third-straight championship clinching point by a freshman. The Monarchs are 20-6 on the season and have a five-match winning streak and have won 10 of their last 11 matches.

The women’s team clinched its seventh straight NCAA Tournament berth with a 4-0 win over Marshall on Sunday. #103 Kira Matushkina clinched the match with a two-set win at No. 1 singles. The Monarchs allowed only one point in three matches to clinch the championship. The team is 13-5 on the season and have a four-match winning streak, winning 13 out of their last 14 matches.
