NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion lacrosse travels to West Long Branch, New Jersey, to face the Monmouth Hawks on Saturday afternoon at Kessler Stadium. The first-ever meeting between the teams is scheduled for noon.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS
Old Dominion is coming off an 8-7 loss to American Conference foe East Carolina last week. Lydia Laney recorded two goals and two assists in the loss, while Jules Mills, Julia Butler, Natalie Calandra-Ryan, Maria Snyder, and Katie Pfeiler each added a goal.
Goalkeeper Brynn Bowen (5-10) made nine saves, bringing her season total to 132. Bowen ranks 10th nationally and leads the conference with 8.8 saves per game.
Calandra-Ryan leads the team with 31 points on 22 goals and nine assists, followed by Laney with 26 points on nine goals and 17 assists. Molly Heimerl has added 20 points on nine goals and 11 assists.
ABOUT THE HAWKS
Monmouth is coming off a 15-10 loss to Drexel on Wednesday afternoon. Grace Curtin recorded a hat trick, while Sophia Lymberis and Shea Berigan added two goals apiece. Olivia Castaldo, Cara Major, and Lauren Rasmani each scored once.
Goalkeeper Katie Sullivan (7-7) made 12 saves in the loss and has 145 on the season.
Rasmani leads the team with 69 points on 18 goals and 51 assists. She is followed by Berigan with 52 points on 41 goals and 11 assists, while Curtin has 40 points on 28 goals and 12 assists.
