NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion women’s sailing’s sophomore skipper Marina Conde has been named to the All-MAISA First Team Skippers, the conference announced on Tuesday.

A native of Palma, Spain Conde has sailed for the women’s sailing team in all eight competitions. She notably helped ODU secure a second-place finish in the ODU Women’s Team Race on Feb. 28. She also finished first in the A Division at the MAISA Spring Women’s Fleet Race Championship alongside crew Molly Hanson on March 28-29. 

Conde has also featured in the 2026 Jen Harris Team Race and helped ODU finish 6/12, she also sailed at the Blaire Herron Memorial Women’s Team Race, the College of Charleston Women’s Team Race, the ODU Women’s Fleet Race, and the Tulane Women’s Team Race this season.
