NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s golf will begin play at the ECU Intercollegiate this Sunday at Brook Valley Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina.
Originally scheduled for 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday, East Carolina has moved up its tournament one day due to potential weather in the area late Monday afternoon. The field will now play 18 holes on each day with the plan to keep the Intercollegiate a 54-hole event.
A total of 15 teams will compete in the Intercollegiate. Apart from ODU and the host Pirates, the field will also include Barton, Bellarmine, Columbia, Fairleigh Dickinson, Gardner-Webb, Lehigh, Oakland, Omaha, Presbyterian, St. John’s, Temple, UCF and UNCW.
The course at Brook Valley is 6,803 total yards and has a par of 72. Sunday’s opening round will see the Monarchs teeing off at 12:12 p.m. and live stats will be available on Scoreboard by Clippd.
For ODU, the lineup will include Cullen Campbell, Quin Covington, Jakub Sutor, Kaijun Ma, and Heath Stout.
This will be the second year in a row that the Monarchs play in the ECU Intercollegiate. The team finished 12th at last year’s tournament with a 57-over par 921. Ma was ODU’s top finisher as he tied for 16th with a five-over 221.
The ECU Intercollegiate also marks the second of three tournaments hosted by the Pirates that ODU will play in during 2025-26. The Monarchs came in 14th place at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic on Sept. 28-29, which was held at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville. Old Dominion will also play in the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate, which ECU is hosting March 27-29 at Cutter Creek Golf Club in Snow Hill, North Carolina.
