NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis claimed both Sun Belt Conference Weekly Honors for the third consecutive week, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Aryan Saleh and Piet Steveker and Zech Hamrouni earned Sun Belt Singles Player of the Week and Sun Belt Doubles Team of the Week respectively.

A junior from Eschborn, Germany, Saleh went 2-0 last weekend in ODU’s doubleheader against Richmond and Norfolk State. He began the day with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Richmond’s Paxton Pritchard on court three, before ending the day besting NSU’s Szymon Janzen 6-3, 6-1 on court four.

Steveker and Hamrouni have now earned Sun Belt Doubles Team of the Week for two consecutive weeks following another undefeated weekend. The pair downed Richmond’s Charlie Burdell and Grant Cohen 6-2, as well as NSU’s Marcin Andrzejczak and Przemek Nikolajuk 6-1, both on court three.
