NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis travels to Williamsburg to take on William & Mary, before returning home to host a doubleheader against Cornell and Morgan State this weekend.
The Monarchs challenge the Tribe on Friday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. at the Mackesy Tennis Center before hosting both No. 25 Cornell and Morgan State on Sunday, March 1 at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. The team’s match against Cornell will begin at 10 a.m., while their match against Morgan State is slated for 4 p.m.

No. 63 Old Dominion returns to Virginia after competing in the Battle in the ‘Boro last weekend, where the Monarchs went 2-1 against No. 71 Rice, No. 39 Middle Tennessee, and Utah, their lone loss coming from MTSU.
William & Mary is 3-3 after defeating Brown and Navy last weekend at home. The Tribe’s three losses have come from road competitions, and are currently undefeated at home.
Cornell is 7-2 so far this spring, and have been rising up in the ITA rankings. The Bears recently downed the University of Tulsa last weekend by a 4-2 score after competing in the ECAC, where the team went 2-1. Cornell will look to extend its win streak as they face off against VCU before coming to Norfolk.
Morgan State is 1-3 and are on a two-match losing streak following losses to Temple and Monmouth, though the Bear’s lone win comes from a 4-3 victory over Navy, marking the program’s first win over the Midshipmen.
