NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion men’s tennis hits the road for the Battle in the ‘Boro on Friday, Feb. 20 to Sunday, Feb. 22 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., at the Adams Tennis Complex.

The Monarchs begin their three days of competition against Rice on Friday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. before challenging Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. To round out the tournament, ODU takes on Utah at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22.

Old Dominion is coming off an undefeated weekend, where the team bested Virginia Tech 4-3 and South Alabama 4-0, bringing their spring record up to 6-2.

Rice stands at an even 3-3 record after competing in the 25K PTT last week. Prior to that, the Owls fell short to LSU, 5-2, in Louisiana. Doubles duo Santiago Navarro and Petro Kuzmenok sit at No. 78 in the country.

Middle Tennessee will look to rebound after falling to Oklahoma State on the road last weekend by a 4-1 score. The Blue Raiders are 7-3 and have two ranked singles players, No. 113 Karim Al-Amin and No. 115 Ondrej Horak. The two are also ranked in doubles at No. 60.

Utah dropped its match on the road against San Diego State last weekend in a close 4-3 loss. The Utes are 3-4 to begin the season.
