NEW ORLEANS - Old Dominion women’s basketball’s En’Dya Buford has been named Sun Belt Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Buford fueled the Monarchs during an unbeaten week of Sun Belt action. The graduate student and native of Memphis, Tenn. scored a team high in both wins, 18 points against App State (65-54) and 21 against Marshall (84-82).

Buford notched two steals both games, provided six assists against the Herd, and grabbed six rebounds against the Mountaineers. Buford shot 57.1% from deep against App State with four made threes and was 60% from behind the arc with three made threes against Marshall.

Buford was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt First Team going into this season and this is the guard's second time earning the Player of the Week honor in her collegiate career.
