NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion field hockey travels to Lynchburg Va. to take on the No.2 seed UConn in semifinals of the BIG EAST Conference Tournament Friday at 4 p.m.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS:
The Monarchs (8-9, 5-2 BIG EAST) are coming off a 3-1 win against Georgetown on Friday to close the regular season. Amelie Zielcke recorded two goals and Sian Emslie scored the third.
Sian Emslie leads the team in points with eight goals, seven assists and 23 points. Sanci Molkenboer follows with five goals, six assists and 16 points.
ABOUT THE HUSKIES:
The Huskies (10-7, 6-1 BIG EAST) closed their season with a 4-2 win over Quinnipiac. Lene Bujes, Pien Prins, Abby Davidson, and Olivia McKenna scored the four goals for the Huskies.
Sol Simone leads the team in points with three goals, nine assists, and 15 points. She is followed by Julia Bressler who owns six goals and 12 points.
LAST MEETING:
The last time the two teams met was Oct. 24, when the Monarchs hosted the Huskies, falling 2-1 in double overtime. Sanci Molkenboer scoring the lone goal off a penalty corner.
