NEW ORLEANS - Old Dominion men’s soccer’s Otu Bisong has been named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week after a two-goal performance against Coastal Carolina in a 2-1 victory, the conference has announced on Tuesday.

Bisong made his first career start for the Monarchs and capitalized on his opportunity quickly by scoring in the ninth minute of action. The native of Herndon, Va. found the back of the net again five minutes later after heading in a cross to the far post from Teagan Dunne

Otu has played in five games during his freshman campaign for the Monarchs and has taken four shots in 169 minutes on the pitch. His two goals in one match ranks second highest for a game in the Sun Belt.
