NORFOLK, Va - The Old Dominion field hockey team returns home to host Quinnipiac on Friday at 3 p.m. and #12 Michigan on Sunday at noon. The games will be hosted at L.R. Hill and both will have live stats and broadcasts available. 

ABOUT THE MONARCHS:

The Monarchs (3-4) are coming off a 2-0 road win at Providence to begin BIG EAST Conference play. Amelie Zielcke and Sanci Molkenboer each recorded both goals for the game, scoring them both off penalty corners. 

Sian Emslie leads the Monarchs in points with 11 with four goals, three assists, and 16 shots. She is followed by Molkenboer and Josie Painter who are tied for second with 10 points each. Molkenboer has three goals, four assists, and 25 shots, Painter has registered five goals for 13 shots. 

ODU is tied for first in the BIG EAST Conference standings along with Temple, Liberty, and UConn. 

ABOUT THE BOBCATS:

Quinnipiac (5-3) is coming off an 8-0 shutout against Merrimack with Fancisca Eschoyez scoring a hat trick, and goals from Mo Quialie, Ava Bleier, and Rozemarijn Van Keule. Goalkeeper Cristina Torres recorded two saves in the game with an appearance by keeper Audrey Everett. 

The Bobcats are tied for fifth in the BIG EAST standings along with Providence, Georgetown, and Villanova. 

ABOUT THE WOLVERINES:

Michigan is coming off a 3-1 loss against JMU with Eva Bernardy recording their lone goal for the Wolverines. 

Juliette Manzur and Abby Tamer both lead in points for the Wolverines. Manzur has 12 points with four goals, four assists, and 16 shots. Tamer records five goals, two assists, and 17 shots. Michigan will face Maryland this Friday in College Park, Md. before meeting with the Monarchs. 

The Wolverines are tied for first in the Big 10 Conference standings along with Iowa and Maryland.

The Monarchs will go on the road to continue conference play as they take on the Liberty Flames October 3rd, in Lynchburg, Va. for a 3 p.m. start time.
