NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis closes out its regular season on the road against Georgia Southern on Saturday, April 19.
The match begins at 10 a.m. at the Wallis Tennis Center in Statesboro, Georgia. Fans can stream the game through TrackTennis with live stats available on StatBroadcast.
Old Dominion is coming off of a 4-0 sweep against Coastal Carolina, where the Monarchs clinched the outright regular season title as well as the No. 1 seed in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament the week prior with a sweep over Texas State. The Monarchs hold a 15-4 record and are 10-0 in conference play.
Georgia Southern bested Troy last weekend on the road by a 4-1 score, rebounding from the team’s 4-2 loss to James Madison the week before, snapping their three-game losing streak. The Eagles are now 3-6 in the SBC with a 11-9 overall record.
The Monarchs moved up to 43rd in the ITA rankings with Sofia Johnson coming in at 19th for singles matches.
