NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis hosts Temple in its final home game of the regular season on Saturday, April 19.
The game kicks off at 12 p.m. at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex, where seven seniors will be honored prior at 11:25 a.m.. Fans can stream the action on ESPN+ with live stats also available.
Old Dominion looks to snap its four-game losing streak after falling to South Florida 15-10 on the road last weekend. The Monarchs are 8-7 overall with a 1-3 record in the American Athletic Conference and are still in a race for a conference tournament spot.
Temple will similarly look to snap its six-game losing streak following an 18-4 loss to No. 12 James Madison last weekend, as well as look to earn its first AAC win of the season. The Owls are 2-11 overall with a 0-4 conference record.
Sarah Murrell continues to lead the Monarchs in scoring with 38 goals and draw controls with 73, marking a new program record after she accounted for eight against USF. Callie Culhane leads in assists with nine, while Payton Kisling has a team-high 15 caused turnovers. Goalie Brynn Bowen is up to 112 saves in the season and leads the Monarchs in ground balls with 31.
Sylvia Mayo earned AAC Honorable Mention following her four goals against USF last weekend, marking her second straight game with a hat trick in just her first two career starts.
