NEW ORLEANS – The two-time defending Sun Belt Champions Old Dominion men’s tennis teams opens Sun Belt Tournament play on Friday, April 18 at 10 a.m. against James Madison at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.
The Monarchs completed a 7-0 mark in the regular season after a 4-0 win over Louisiana on Sunday. ODU comes into the tournament with an overall record of 14-8.
James Madison is 7-11 overall and clinched its spot in the SBC Tournament with a 4-3 win over Southern Miss on Sunday.
ODU defeated the Dukes in the regular season edition of the Townebank Royal Rivalry in Norfolk, 4-0.
