NOFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis rounds out its homestand as it begins conference play against App. State and Marshall.
ODU faces off against App. State on Saturday, March 8 at 10 a.m. and challenges Marshall on Sunday, March 9 at 10 a.m. Both matches will be played in the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center and fans can watch through Track.Tennis with live stats also available through iOnCourt.
The Monarchs are on a three game win streak following victories over P4 opponents Kansas and Maryland, as well as a dominant 4-1 win over No. 63 Princeton. App. State is coming off of its own 4-1 win over Dartmouth with doubles teammates Savannah Dada-Mascoll and Isabella Romanichen ranked 46 in the ITA, while Marshall as a team comes in at No. 50 after downing four straight opponents.
Sofia Johnson is ranked 10 in the ITA after defeating Maryland’s Kallista Liu (6-0, 6-3) last weekend and bringing her singles record up to 5-1. Old Dominion as a team is ranked 36.
