ODU is looking to extend its win streak in just their second home game of the season after downing Lafayette last weekend by a 7-4 score. Meanwhile, Howard is looking to earn its first win of the season after falling to George Mason last weekend, 19-7.
McKenzie Reach was named AAC Defensive Player of the Week after accounting for three draw controls, one ground ball, and two forced turnovers against Lafayette. Sarah Murrell was named as an honorable mention after scoring two goals with three ground balls in the same game.
Murrell continues to lead the team in scoring with 16 goals while Alex Kulinski follows just behind with 15. Murrell is also tied with Reach for 30 draw controls in the season, while Megan Hopfensperger leads in assists with eight. Goalie Brynn Bowen is up to 47 saves in the season after recording eight against Lafayette.
