NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion men’s tennis player Cosme Rolland De Ravel has been named the Sun Belt Men’s Tennis Player of the Week after going 4-0 last week, the league office announced on Wednesday.
In Tuesday’s 4-2 win over Liberty, Rolland De Ravel started the day winning the No. 2 doubles with Adam Majchrzak 6-1 and followed it up winning the game-winning match against Siwanat Auytayakul in the No. 1 singles.
In the sweep over Elon, he and Majchrzak earned a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-4, and he also earned a win at No. 1 singles against Veljko Krstic.
Rolland De Ravel and the Monarchs return to action on Sunday at Penn at 1 P.M.
