NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s soccer defender Ashlynn Kulha earned first-team United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region honors, while goalkeeper Emily Bredek was named to the third team, the USC announced on Wednesday.
The Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference selection, Kulha had a goal and two points on the year and played a key role in ODU’s nine shutouts on the season. Her goal came in the regular season matchup against James Madison.
Bredek was named Sun Belt Goalkeeper of the Year for the second-straight season after she pitched four shutouts and posted a .786 goals against average in 10 games played. She notched a season-high nine saves in a 2-0 win over William & Mary.
