NORFOLK, Va. – The two-time defending Sun Belt Conference Champion Old Dominion Women’s Tennis Team announced its 2025 schedule that features five Power-Four opponents, including a match against Kansas at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center, ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla announced on Thursday.
“It’s exciting to be firing up another season. The foundation of our team is solid and seasoned. We have a list of matches to develop us into the best team we can be come postseason play. I’m looking forward to seeing what this team can achieve.”
Old Dominion opens the 2025 campaign on January 17 against Richmond at 4 p.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
The Monarchs then go on the road January 19 at Penn State and January 26 at Wake Forest before returning to Norfolk to host William & Mary on February 6 at 4 p.m.
ODU hits the road on February 8 at NC State prior to returning for a five-match homestand beginning with the Jayhawks coming to Norfolk on February 14. ODU hosts Princeton on February 23 and Maryland on March 1 before beginning Sun Belt Conference play on March 8 and 9 against App State and Marshall, respectively.
The Monarchs take to the road on March 15 and 16 at Troy and Georgia State and return home to host South Alabama and Southern Miss on March 22 and 23.
The Townebank Royal Rivalry Challenge commences at James Madison on March 29.
ODU travels to Louisiana and Texas State on April 4 and 6 before hosting Senior Day on April 12 against Coastal Carolina.
The Monarchs travel to Georgia Southern on April 19 to conclude the regular season.
The Sun Belt Conference Tournament begins on April 23 in Rome, Georgia.
ODU has won four-straight conference titles, including two-consecutive titles in Conference USA before joining the Sun Belt Conference. The Monarchs have been to five-straight NCAA Tournaments.
