NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Men’s Soccer players Karan Mandair and Timothy Ennin were named to the CSC (College Sports Communicators) Academic All-District Team, the CSC announced on Tuesday.
The award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Those earning all-district honors required a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 without rounding up and must’ve either started in 66% or competed in 90% of all matches.
Mandair achieved a 3.56 GPA with a major in Economics. The midfielder from Hastings, New played in 16 games six games started for the Monarchs. Mandair played 860 minutes this season with two shots on goal.
Ennin achieved a 3.5 GPA with a major in Cyber Security. The forward from Hartford, Connecticut played in 16 games and 13 games started for the Monarchs. The forward accomplished four goals this season, contributing half of the goals in the 4-2 win against George Washington. Ennin also contributed a goal in the win against Georgia Southern and scored the game-winning goal against James Madison.
