NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion Football hosts James Madison in the Royal Rivalry Challenge on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. at Kornblau Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium.

The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and available on radio at ESPN Radio 94.1 FM.

Saturday's contest is a sellout and a Whiteout. 

• ODU fell at App State 28-20 two weeks ago. The Monarchs are coming off a bye last Saturday.

• ODU had 498 yards of offense at App State and garnered more than 100 yards of offense than the Mountaineers but four turnovers doomed the Monarchs in Boone.

• Quarterback Colton Joseph completed 27-of-38 yards for 332 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for 42 yards on 17 carries.

• Running back Aaron Young had 14 carries for a career-best 110 yards, including 97 in the first half.

Isiah Paige recorded career-highs with 13 receptions for 205 yards and a touchdowns. The 13 catches are the most by a Sun Belt receiver this season and the second most by an ODU receiver in program history.

• JMU is coming off a 38-7 win over Georgia State and has won two-straight. Alonza Barnett completed 20-of-30 passes for 241 yards and three scores while George Pettaway rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Paige Making Plays
Isiah Paige had 13 receptions for 205 yards and a touchdown at App State. The 13 catches are the second most in a single game in ODU history and 205 yards are the sixth most.

Paige has led ODU in receiving for the sixth time in nine games and recorded his third career 100-yard receiving game, all have come this season.

Paige is fifth in the league in receiving yards per game and sixth in the league in receiving yards oer game.

Paige moved into eighth in ODU history in receptions, passing his cousin, Ali Jennings.

Koa Leads the Way
Linebacker Koa Naotala has started all but one game at linebacker and is second on the Monarchs with 62 tackles. He had five at App State.

With 62 tackles, Naotala has more than doubled his career total of 29 coming into the year. 

More than One
Koa’s older Seth, joined the team the Monday prior to the season-opener at South Carolina. Seth was one of just two players in the FBS to play in the season-opening game after joining the team that week.

A transfer from James Madison, Seth has played more each week and had eight tackles and a sack against Virginia Tech.

Seth had five tackles at Appalachian State.

On the year, he has 23 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and a sack.

ODU is one of just two teams in the country that have a brother as the backup to another brother. Wisconsin left tackle Jack Nelson is backed up by his brother, Barrett.

Rankin Causing Havoc
Angelo Rankin Jr. registered five tackles and a tackle for loss at App State. 

Rankin Jr. is second in the Sun Belt and tied for fourth in the country with three forced fumbles. He became the first Monarch since Oshane Ximines in 2018 to force two fumbles in one game with his two forced fumbles against Georgia Southern.

A transfer from Richmond, Rankin is also tied for second in the Sun Belt with three interceptions and 13th in the league with five passes defended.

Monarch Thievery
ODU is tied for second in the Sun Belt with 11 interceptions. Jahron Manning and Angelo Rankin Jr. have three interceptions each while Will Jones has two.

ODU had 11 interceptions all of last season.
