NORFOLK, Va.- Old Dominion swimmer Kiersten Donnelly was named Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week for the second straight time, the Sun Belt announced on Thursday.
Donnelly grabbed first place in the 100 butterfly with a 56.25 time and the 100 backstroke with a 56.50 time. The women’s 200 free relay team, which Donnelly was a part of, also took second place with a time of 1:37:00.
This award comes after Donnelly was named Sun Belt Conference Swimmer of the Week in the previous week, after the Monarchs capped off their first win of the season against Campbell.
Donnelly won the 50 backstroke and 50 butterfly with a 27.09 and 26.48 time respectively, while also claiming the 100 backstroke with a 58.25 time. She then helped the 400 medley relay team win first with a time of 3:59:01.
