BOSTON, Mass. - The Old Dominion rowing team has finished action in the Head of the Charles Regatta, finishing 23rd out of 42 boats.
“Head of the Charles is a tough race. We unfortunately didn’t get the result we wanted despite rowing better than we did at High Point,” said ODU Head Coach Brian Conley.
ODU competed in the Women’s Club 8+ and finished 23rd with a time of 17:35.844.
“We now know where we stand with other teams and will put our focus on getting fitter, stronger and rowing better so when we meet a lot of these teams in the spring, we can show our improvement,” added Conley.
“These results don’t dictate what we do in the spring. We have to put our heads down and put in the work between now and then.” said Conley.
ODU rowing is back in action on October 27 where they will compete in the Head of the Lafayette in Norfolk, Va.
