NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion head women’s tennis coach Dominic Manilla announced on Friday the 2024 fall schedule for his program with five traditional tournaments and a pair of International Tennis Federation (ITF) events.
The Monarchs are coming off an 18-6 season that saw them capture their third traight Sun Belt Conference crown, fourth straight league title and advanced a round in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth year in a row.
ODU will start off in Chapel Hill, N.C. at the Kitty Harrison Invitational hosted by North Carolina. They’ll return to the Tar Heel state to participate in the All-American Classic in Cary, N.C. from Sept. 21-29. Also in that time frame, some of the team will be competing at the Georgia Southern Invitational from Sept. 27-29.
October will see the team head to Charlottesville for the ITA Atlantic Regional from Oct. 17-20. The Fall Masters will be held Nov. 7-10 in San Diego which is the final qualification event for the NCAA Individual Championships which will be held in Waco, Texas from Nov. 19-24.
The Monarchs will also participate in a pair of ITF events Sept. 25-29 in Berkeley, Calif. and Oct. 7-13 in Redding, Calif.
