NORFOLK, Va. – Over the next three weeks Old Dominion Athletics will announce the gameday activities for each of this year’s six home games. Today we announce the promotions surrounding the Thursday night game against Georgia Southern.
Game Info
The contest against the Eagles is set for Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. It is the first ever Thursday night home game in program history.
The Monarchs won in Statesboro last year, as Ethan Sanchez kicked a field goal on the final play of the game to lift ODU to a 20-17 victory.
ODU Global will be the game sponsor.

Military Appreciation
The Military community is part of the fabric of Hampton Roads, and ODU Football is excited to honor and welcome all members to the game and celebrate.
As part of the Seats for Service Program – ODU fans can donate tickets to military members and their families. For every $10 donated will go towards a ticket donation. ODU Athletics kickstarted the program by donating 2,000 tickets to start. Donate to Seats for Service today!
For military members to request tickets, they can do so one of two ways. A limited number of tickets will be available on VetTix, or you can request tickets here and ODU Athletics will provide further detail on how to claim for yourself and family.
Kaufman Mall
The exciting pregame atmosphere returns at Kaufman Mall beginning four hours prior to kickoff. The band WOAH90's will perform on Kaufman Mall. Stop by Kaufman Mall to enjoy the beer garden, the top food trucks in Virginia, games, and interactive experiences in the Kids Zone.
Special military themed programming will be prevalent throughout Kaufman Mall with special demonstrations, games, and activities for all ages!

Stop by the ODU marketing tent for giveaways and special activations from our partners and stay tuned for additional programming. The Monarch March Band, under the direction of David Enloe, will get the crowd roaring with a 15-minute performance two hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Fifteen minutes later the football team will come through Kaufman Mall on their way to the stadium as fans lineup to cheer on the Monarch March to the stadium.

o Kaufman Mall will open: 3 p.m.
o WOAH90’s will perform: 3:45 p.m.
o Marching Band Performance: 4:30 p.m.
o Monarch March: 4:45 p.m.
o S.B. Ballard Stadium Gates Open: 5:30 p.m.
o Flyover: 6:45 p.m.

Season ticket holders will have an exclusive pre-sale opportunity to add on additional single game tickets to their package on July 17. Single game tickets will go on-sale to the public on July 24.
