NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion men's golf and head coach Murray Rudisill announced the team's complete 2024-25 schedule on Wednesday.
“We have two new tournaments for our upcoming season, with one in the fall and another in the spring,” said Rudisill. “We’re grateful to have been invited to play in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, which will be hosted by fellow Sun Belt member Coastal Carolina. That should feature a strong and competitive field and will be played at a great course down there in Myrtle Beach. We’re also excited to have the opportunity to go back to Puerto Rico and have added another tournament hosted by East Carolina for the spring.”
After the Monarchs open their fall schedule in Myrtle Beach on Sept. 8-10, the team will make the short trip to Greenville, North Carolina to compete in ECU’s Ironwood Collegiate Classic on Sept. 30-Oct. 1 followed by Elon’s Phoenix Invitational on Oct. 14-15. The Monarchs then round out their fall slate by hosting the 14th Annual ODU/OBX Intercollegiate on Oct. 20-22.
The spring season begins with the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Feb. 23-25 in Puerto Rico. After heading to Southern Pines, North Carolina on March 10-11 for George Mason’s Donald Ross Collegiate Classic, Old Dominion will play in back-to-back tournaments hosted by ECU. First is the East Carolina Invitational on March 17-18 in Greenville, and second is the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate on March 28-30 in Snow Hill. The Monarchs conclude the regular season at App State’s Irish Creek Collegiate on April 8-9 in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Mississippi will be the site of the 2025 Sun Belt Championship, which is scheduled for April 21-24.
