NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion women's golf head coach Mallory Kane announced the team's full schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season on Friday.
“The schedule this year is challenging and gives our team several opportunities to compete against the best teams in the country,” said Kane. “Our incoming class is talented, experienced and combined with our returners, we will be up for the challenge. Hopefully our strength of schedule and good play will give us another chance to make the NCAA Tournament.”
This fall will see the Monarchs competing in four tournaments, beginning with Purdue’s Boilermaker Classic on Sept. 2-3 in West Lafayette, Indiana. ODU will then travel to Greenville, South Carolina on Sept. 23-25 to play in Furman’s Lady Paladin Invitational before hosting the Fourth Annual Evie Odom Invitational on Oct. 4-6 at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach. The team will then round out its fall slate at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State on Oct. 21-23 in West Point, Mississippi.
ODU will play in five events during the spring to tune up for next year’s Sun Belt Conference Championship. First up will be the UCF Challenge on Feb. 2-4 in Orlando, Florida, followed by the Momentum Transportation UNF Collegiate on March 3-4 in Jacksonville, Florida. The following week will see the Monarchs headed to John’s Island, South Carolina for the College of Charleston’s Briar’s Creek Invitational, and ODU will be in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 21-22 for NC State’s Wolfpack Match Play. The team will round out its regular season at the Chattanooga Classic on March 28-30 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The 2025 Sun Belt Championship will again be held at Lakewood Golf Club in Point Clear, Alabama on April 14-17.
