NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion women’s tennis junior Sofia Johnson will open NCAA Singles Championship play on Monday afternoon at the Greenwood Tennis Center on the campus of Oklahoma State.

Johnson faces Carly Briggs of Florida at 2 p.m. ET on Monday in the first round of the 64-player bracket. A win will put her against either Andjela Skrobonja, of San Diego State or Lisa Zaar of Pepperdine on Tuesday.

“Sofia has had a great couple of weeks of preparation and is coming off one of the biggest wins in her career. We are excited to see her compete,” said ODU Head Coach Dominic Manilla.
