NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team returns to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex on Saturday to take on Vanderbilt in an American Athletic Conference matchup.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
ODU enters the contest following a hard fought 12-5 loss at Temple last Saturday as Lily Siskind and Emma Rowland each scored twice. Offensively, Emma Arnold continues to lead the team in goals scored (24) and shares the lead in points (32), while Siskind is right behind in goals (22), shares the team lead in assists (10) and points (32). Sydney Taylor rounds out the top three in goals scored (21), shares the lead in assists with Siskind (10) and is one behind in points (31).
Arnold leads the Monarchs as well in draw controls (39) and caused turnovers (18), while Jenna Peccia leads in ground balls (32).
Vanderbilt has played its last two games against nationally-ranked opponents and lost to No. 11 Florida (20-5) on Saturday and at No. 22 Penn State (12-11) on Wednesday. The Commodores have three players with 20 or more goals scored this year with Kemper Robinson (24) leading the team, while Molly Finlay (23) and Brooke Baker (21) joining Robinson with 20 goals apiece. Ella Smith leads the Commodores in assists with 10. Smith leads in draw controls (35), while Taylor Sampone has a team best 33 ground balls.
ODU will return to action on April 10 when they visit Virginia Tech for a 1 p.m. matchup.
