NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University Sailing delivered a trio of top-seven finishes over the weekend, including finishing fourth at the MAISA Women's Team Race Championship, fifth at the Truxtun Umstead Regatta and seventh at the Oberg Trophy.
 
ODU went 7-7 to place fourth in the MAISA Women's Team Race Championship, as Elizabeth Gildea, Gianna Dewey and Megan Geith were skippers, while Morgan Auth, Cadence Goodnight, Allison Jeanne Volk, Kristin Johnson, Lindsey Kaufmann and Emma Friedauer were crew.
 
The Monarchs went 3-4 in the first round with wins over Georgetown, Navy and Fordham, and notched second round wins over Georgetown, Navy, Hobart and William Smith and Fordham.
 
At the Truxtun Umstead Regatta, the Division A team of Rider Odom and Parker Younger came in fifth. The Division B squad of Milo Miller, Sam Riley and Emil Body-Goldberg came in 10th.
 
ODU came in seventh at the Oberg Trophy. The Division A team of Parker Purrington and Asia Acosta took seventh, while the Division B team of iogo Silva and Ethan Tutt were sixth and the Division C team of Blake Goodwin and Molly Hanson came in 10th.
